Proud to be an American

Sometimes I get so frustrated with how inconsiderate and selfish people are.

How self-absorbed and "me me me" focused society is.

Then I see stories of communities rallying together for a common cause.

Nathan Elfrink has been battling brain cancer since he was 20 weeks old. He is now seven years old. The doctors have told him this will be his last Christmas. The cancer has spread.

So what have people done? They heard that he likes Christmas cards, and this nation we live in has rallied together to send this little boy thousands of Christmas cards. To the point where the family said, no more. Mailbox is full. :)

So he has a facebook group. With 27,215 members. 27,ooo people praying.

This is what is means to be united in love and prayer.

It is times like right now when I am thankful to live in a nation who still cares about others. Thank you America. And thank you Jesus for being the example for the rest of us to follow.
