All in a day's work

So I took the NCLEX today.
Ahhh! Man they make that process as intimidating as possible.

Exhibit A:
"Items not to bring: jackets, purses, watches, chapstick, water..." Come on... no chapstick? No watch? There are no clocks in that place!

Exhibit B:
Too bad the directions they provided were not right. Thank goodness for google maps. And the lady on the phone who confirmed that it was definitely NOT in the same parking lot as Vons and Remax. Good thing I don't freak out if I get lost and actually like the adventure. Actually that's true. But not today, it wasn't true today. But that's ok. I finally found it.

Exhibit C:
The actual location. In a sea of office buildings. Up the elevator to the 4th floor. Around the corner. Through the huge door. Down the never-ending hallway. Oh perfect, a bathroom... oh wait, it's locked. You have to have a key. All the way to the end of the hallway, and this is what I find.

Honestly, can it get more intimidating?

Exhibit D:
Inside... check in... authorization to test, license, palm vein scan (like 5 times), fingerprint, and photo. I think they identified me! Then, "security check." Then, placement at my little computer desk.

Anyway, I made it and hopefully it went well. We will see! Thank you for your prayers and encouragement. It has truly meant the world to me and I have really felt your prayers.

So then, my sister shows up at my doorstep with a huge bouquet of balloons and says "Surprise!!!" What!? Carly came home to spend the evening with me!? Best sister ever!!

Then we had dinner at my parents' house. And we walk in to find beautiful flowers and dessert.

Seriously? Thank you for making me feel so special. I love you guys more than I can ever express, and I am so thankful for you.

Now, we wait! I will be sure to let you know when I find out the results! Thanks for walking this journey with me.
