This past weekend, my mom and I walked the
Susan G Komen 3-Day for the Cure in San Diego.
I signed up back in March,
aware that this would challenge me in every way
and change my life,
but unaware of the depth and details of that change and challenge.
$2300 raised...
over 100 miles trained (I sorta lost exact count)...
and the grand finale...
60 miles in 3 days.
We completed the walk last night.
I am still a bit in awe of the whole thing,
so for now,
just a glimpse of a piece of the experience.
